New FRIA Tool for AI Regulation
A powerful new feature has launched in the Software Library – the FRIA tool. It is designed to help customers (data controllers) assess the Fundamental Rights Impact of high-risk AI systems, as required by the upcoming EU AI Act.
To support this, we collect the necessary information from AI service providers. This ensures that customers can easily complete their FRIA assessments using up-to-date vendor data – and, once the assessment is done, safely and lawfully deploy AI tools and applications that include AI-based features. This way, the FRIA tool also removes barriers of purchase!
FRIA is based on the framework developed by Finnish Government ICT Center "Valtori" and has been audited by an independent legal expert Lex Futura.
