The GDPR-library EU is now open at https://gdpr-library.eu
To make it easier to buy software & cloud services based on GDPR facts
We invite you to join the GDPR-library EU. This new project has been started by Finnish learning technology expert company, Ilona IT. The Library will help all the organizations purchasing and using software & cloud services more safely – while complying with European GDPR regulations.
In accordance with the GDPR regulations, when customers are purchasing software (applications and online services), the information security of the acquired service must be determined and an assessment of its effects must be made. These are often laborious tasks and every organization does them themselves from the start. Sometimes the reports are not done at all.
The goal of the GDPR-Library EU is to collect the necessary software-specific information directly from the vendors. The accuracy of the information is verified by the vendors insurance, and the information is kept up-to-date through periodic repeated surveys of the vendors.
BENEFITS FOR CUSTOMERS
GDPR-library EU compiles the GDPR-information into one, centralized and structured database for customers. Organizations gain access to reliable and up-to-date information, which supports the procurement decision and also the investigations and evaluations that precede it. This saves the procuring organization's time and increases the quality of the investigations and evaluations made.
Customers can also familiarize themselves with classified software. In the library there is software & cloud services listed in different ways and showing all options in the purchasing process.
BENEFITS FOR VENDORS
For vendors the library makes it easier to hand over information in advance for customers. Also vendors do not have to respond to each and every customer's inquiries separately. This is huge time saving for everyone!
The vendors and products included in the library clearly show their commitment to data protection and thus their reputation improves in the eyes of customers.
When Your solutions will be listed into the library, those will be seen by user, purchase and IT-managers.
GDPR-library will enable and increase more usage and sales.
Only public information is shared in the library and it is free of charge for vendors.
