We’re pleased to announce that our next free update for NVivo 10 has been released. It’s called Service Pack 2 and it enables you to work with NVivo 10 in English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish and Simplified Chinese. There is also a separate Japanese language version of NVivo 10 now available. The update provides new functionality for working with social media data as well.

New language support for NVivo 10
Now, for the first time, you can work NVivo 10 in another language. You can now choose to work with NVivo 10 using an English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish or Simplified Chinese interface, and even switch seamlessly between languages. You can also access a separate Japanese version of the software.

What's more, to get you up and running quickly with NVivo, we're offering a range of free learning resources such as our Getting Started Guide, and our 'Coding a document' and 'Importing and applying classifications and attributes' how-to videos in each new language: French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and Japanese.

Want to work with YouTube content? NCapture it.
You can currently import web data like online PDFs, social media and web pages into NVivo using the NCapture web browser extension. By installing Service Pack 2 you can now analyze YouTube videos and comments collected using the latest version of NCapture. Watch a video demonstration of capturing YouTube content.

Geovisualize your social media data
Using the new Map tab in social media datasets, you can quickly and easily see where Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or YouTube commentators are located.

How to access the free software update
If you’re an existing NVivo 10 user, including those using trial software, you’ll be automatically notified via your software when the free NVivo 10 software update is released. The free release is simply downloaded with a few clicks and it updates your existing software.
